Who collected what today
Counter sales belong to whoever rang them up. An app order paid in cash at pickup belongs to whoever handed it over. Prepaid app orders bring no cash. Loos are a discount, never cash.

Accounts by payment rail
One card per money family — cash, mobile money, prepaid credit, your own pocket — with its balance for the period and its share of the money. Tap a card to see its accounts; tap an account to unfold every payment on it, with the time, the order, what was sold, who served it, what was paid, the VAT withheld and what reaches you. Rails with nothing in the period stay one line each.

Every product that sold, against the hours of the day, the days of the week or your stores. Each cell is the units, the money customers paid or the margin (paid minus the cost you set), shaded against the biggest cell. Two sets of books
Coffee shop & restaurant
The same period as two separate books, side by side, with a Shared column for the costs that serve both. Sales and cost of goods are split by what was sold; a table bill with coffee and a dish on it is divided between the two. The two books, minus the shared costs, come to the whole business's profit.

Tax report
Sales tax (VAT) by payment rail
Somalia's sales tax is inside every price you charge: a $3.00 drink is $2.86 of coffee and $0.14 of tax. Hormuud and Somtel take that share out of mobile-money payments before the money reaches your merchant balance — your own EVC Plus receipt SMS shows it as "VAT waa". Nobody takes it out of cash, so the tax on cash sales is yours to pay to the Ministry of Finance; record that payment as an expense in the category "Sales tax (VAT) paid to the government" and it settles here without being counted twice.

Expenses
Record an expense
Rent, salaries, milk runs, repairs — anything the business paid for. Whose books: the coffee shop's, the restaurant's, or shared when both carry the cost (rent, the accountant). Choose where the money came from: an expense paid from a store cash drawer comes off that drawer's expected cash (name the barista on shift so their count still balances); the owner means your own pocket or bank; mobile money means the shop's EVC or eDahab wallet. Mistakes are voided, never edited, so the books stay honest.
Read-only for your role. Expenses are recorded by the owner, an admin or the finance desk (owner's rule). Hand receipts to them; what they record shows below.

Station sign-in list
The names allowed to sign in at each store, each with a job: a Barista sells the coffee menu (app orders and the counter), a Waiter sells both menus at the tables, Kitchen staff see the restaurant tickets and sell nothing. Staff pick their name from this list on the Station, so every shift's money is filed under a real, consistent name — not whatever someone types. Leave it empty to let staff type any name (the old way; everyone counts as a barista). No job moves money: expenses and refunds stay with the owner, admins and Finance.
Open bills
Every table with a bill open right now — rounds sent, what it comes to, how long since it opened. A bill is settled by its waiter on the Station; the money lands in that waiter's shift when the table pays.

Your floor
Your building can have several floors (Ground, 1st…); each floor holds zones (Main, Terrace, Window); each zone holds the tables. Give every table the name your waiters call it (4, 12, Terrace 2) and set how many it seats. Waiters open, order on and settle them from the Station. Removing a table retires it (its old bills stay in the books) and always asks first; a table with an open bill can’t be removed until it pays.

Home slides
What customers see first
Up to 8 slides. English is required; Somali and Arabic are optional (English shows when they are empty). Leave the list empty to keep the app's built-in slides.
Announcement bar
One line at the top of the app and the website
Off. Save with "Show the bar" ticked and the line appears within a minute in the app and on www.loos.coffee.
Startup card
The card customers see when the app opens
The full-screen card shown for about three seconds after the app's opening screen (phones only, skippable). Until now it was fixed inside the app; from app version 1.1.22 you set it here and it changes in every phone within a minute — no update needed. The picture works best as a tall photo, 1080 × 1920, dark towards the bottom so the white text stays readable.

Per-line controls
Ordering hours, wait-time promise & rewards
Set when each line takes orders and the wait line the app shows. Leave a line's open and close blank to keep it open all day. Outside the hours, no new order goes through on any screen.
Customers on an older version see one quiet strip on the Home tab, dismissable, back once a day. Set this the day Google approves the build, not when the build finishes — otherwise people tap Update and find nothing there. Leave the version blank to nudge nobody. Only play.google.com and apps.apple.com links are accepted.
Turning rewards off hides the whole Loos Club in the app; the restaurant never earns rewards.
Launch offer
Flat-price drinks for the launch
One switch for the whole offer. Menu prices stay as they are; the discount is applied when the customer places the order, so the receipt shows the real price and the launch discount. Cancelled orders do not count.
Sign in to see today's cups and the totals so far.
Off. Save with "Offer is on" ticked and the app applies the price within a minute. Food, cakes and ice cream never take the offer.

Orders waiting to be paid
A customer picked EVC Plus and got the dial code. The ring counts down the 30 minutes before the order expires; the receipt usually lands here on its own.
Money in with no order
Real payments (“ka heshay”) that matched no waiting order — a late payer, a wrong amount or a double tap. Make the drink, refund, or mark the duplicate.
Money out from the merchant numberNot customer payments
Texts that say you sent money (“u wareejisay”, “u dirtay”). They never match an order and never count as sales. Kept here as a ledger so the merchant balance always adds up. If one of these really was a customer's payment, “Was a payment” puts it back on the review list.
Last received from the store phoneEvery text, matched or not
One card per customer, so one EVC transfer settles everything that person is owed. The number is the payer's — the one to send to.
Send the money first. “Mark refunded” records who settled it and when — it does not move money. EVC Plus has no automated refund, so pay the customer by EVC, then mark it. “Refund via eDahab” is the exception: that one really pays.

Table cards
Stick one card on each table. A customer who scans it orders from their seat and pays with EVC Plus on their own phone; the order comes up on the Station marked with the table. Taking a table out in Tables switches its card off.

Table orders
Service fee
A flat amount added to every table QR order. The customer sees it on the table and in the total, and must tick that they agree to it, and to the Loos Terms, before Pay works. $0.00 means no fee; the two ticks still show.

Every card and poster carries a short link: /t/ for a table, /s/ for a shop, /go/ for your own. What a link opens is looked up each time it is scanned, so renaming a table or changing the address never means reprinting.
App health
Crash reports from customers' phones
When the Loos app closes by itself, the phone sends a technical report here on its next start — app, Android and WebView versions, the device model and the error trace; never the customer's name or number. Your alert-subscribed devices (Payments → outage alerts) get one push per quarter hour. Reports are kept 90 days.

Open the real books
Ends the test period once. Every order, payment, shift, expense, stock movement, Loos point grant and wallet movement from testing goes; the menu, recipes, stores, tables, team, customers and the audit log stay. Loos points and wallet balances start at zero for everyone; ingredient stock starts at zero and the real counts are entered after. Every report starts from this day.
One Excel workbook, a sheet per table, every row that goes or is set to zero. It is the only copy — keep it. Valid for 60 minutes.
OPEN BOOKS and openOnly after the download. One step, no way back. If an order arrives between the download and this step, the books refuse and ask for a fresh archive.
FINAL BOOKSConfirms these are the real books. After this nobody can start them again — the button goes and the server refuses. There is no undo.
